On-Grid
Eneva supplies natural gas solutions to the on-grid market through the Hub Sergipe, which includes a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) located in Barra dos Coqueiros (SE), with a regasification capacity of 21 MMm³/day.
The Porto de Sergipe I Power Plant is supplied with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) purchased from third parties and transported by LNG carriers to the FSRU terminal, where the LNG is regasified and stored in cryogenic tanks before being distributed.
FSRU integrated with the gas pipeline
It is worth noting that TAG’s gas pipeline network extends along Brazil’s Northeastern coast and interconnects with other gas transportation systems nationwide.
The interconnection completed in October 2024 now enables the distribution of natural gas from the Hub Sergipe to various regions, operations, and clients.
In early 2024, Eneva launched the Gas Desk, offering a range of services related to natural gas sales from the Hub Sergipe FSRU — the first private LNG terminal connected to Brazil’s national gas transportation network.
