Amapari Energia is a diesel thermal power plant that started operations in 2008 and is located in the municipality of Serra do Navio (AP). Equipped with 12 engines with MAN technology and manufactured by STX/Hyundai has a generation capacity of 23 MW of electricity with 51% owned by ENEVA and 49% by Eletronorte.
Amapari Energia is authorized by Aneel to operate as Independent Power Producer (IPE). With investments of R$ 86 million, the thermoelectric combines technical expertise, local knowledge and mastery of technology generation possible by corporate partner Eletronorte.
During the peak of works, were generated about 400 jobs.
